IESA participated in three contests sponsored by the AMBA organization

Three prizes shall be awarded by the AMBA in November of this year: The 2013 Entrepreneurial Venture MBA Award, the 2013 Student of the Year MBA Award and the 2013 Innovation MBA Award. 

The first of them seeks to support business schools that foster an entrepreneurial spirit. Among the requisites of the AMBA, the recipient of the award should be a person who has founded an innovative and successful company that has been operative for at least 6 months and a maximum of 3 years. The second is one of the most coveted prizes in the field of business education: the Student of the Year MBA. It recognizes the accomplishments of alumni and academic excellence by awarding the “Student of the Year MBA”. For the winner´s profile, AMBA seeks highly qualified and motivated MBAs on their way to becoming the leaders of tomorrow.

The third prize, dedicated to innovation in MBAs, was designed to recognize new practices and creativity introduced in accredited management program models and the inputs delivered therefrom.

After carefully evaluating the requirements posed by the AMBA, IESA is proud to postulate Federico Fernández Dupoy for the 2013 Entrepreneurial Venture MBA Award and Emilio Angulo Rodríguez for the 2013 Student of the Year MBA Award. The entire community wishes them much success in this contest. 

The awards shall be handed out at a meeting with prestigious corporate leaders, deans and international journalists in London.
