Procter and Gamble de Venezuela entered into an alliance with IESA for the donation of annual scholarships
P&G from Venezuela signed an alliance with IESA, the Institute of Superior Administration Studies, to grant scholarships each year to students of various postgraduate courses offered by this house of studies.
To start with this agreement, 3 scholarships were granted last November to Gabriel Contreras –administrator and student of a Master's in Business Administration (MBA), Rafael Arévalo –industrial engineer and student of a Master's in Finance and Gabriel Márquez –economist and a student of a Master's in Finance. P&G de Venezuela benefits these students by paying 50% of their tuition fees.
Marcio Andreazzi, the general manager of P&G de Venezuela, expressed his satisfaction and commitment to the future of the nation, thus: “At P&G Venezuela we wish to offer these young persons the chance to develop their maximum potential and we firmly believe that this alliance with IESA is the first step to project our nation's talent towards success. We expect them to give their all in forthcoming challenges”.
In turn, Rodolfo Guzmán, director of human resources, added: “Our commitment is to aid these young persons to acquire the tools they need, so that in the future the most important companies in Venezuela and the world receive them with open arms, exalting the nation's name and showing that hard work and dedication bears its fruits”.
Through this effort, P&G ratifies its commitment to the development of this nation, striving to foster education and the social development of young Venezuelans.
